Baptism

Well, life has been awsome with this change to our family! I'm loving having my 2 girls around! Sidney has gotten SO much better with Jodee, but we do have to still keep a close eye on her around Jodee. It's been nice to have Byron home for most of this week as I had to take it easy and sit on my butt as I overdid myself the week before and my body wasn't letting me forget! I felt bad though as Byron started on Monday emptying the laundry room/bathroom so that we could paint. We had talked about doing it this week after camping, but due to the fact that Jodee came early, I couldn't help at all. It's slowly getting done and I hope to help a bit this week now that I'm getting better. Byron worked 2 days for Heppels this week so I had 2 days of getting used to 2 kids around. It was good! I was able to get in a nap everyday as Sidney has continued napping for me, thank goodness! Even if I only got 30 minutes, it's better than nothing! The midwife came on Wednesday and Jodee was weighed in at 7 lbs, 1.5 oz. so yeah! All is going well!

Today we had baptism this morning at church. Jodee did so well and didn't cry at all! She was awake for the baptism part, but grandma kept her nice and cozy she fell right asleep. We had a luncheon at church with family and a few friends, and then I came home with the girls and we all napped while church was going on this afternoon. We've all been chilling out since Byron came home. I was enjoying having Jodee sleeping on me for 2.5 hours. I don't do it often as I have to share my time with Sidney, so I figured I'd take advantage of it! Nothing like having your beautiful baby girl asleep on your chest!
