Graduation!!!

My neighbor girl from church graduated from grade 12. She ordered a dress from China, but trying it on, wasn`t crazy about how the top sat. So, her mom asked me if I'd be able to add straps to it by cutting some of the ties from the back of the dress. Here are before pictures...notice you can't see the band under the bust...

So, it was kinda left to the last minute to work on the dress. They gave it to me last Monday and that meant I only had 3 days to work on it before I left for camping. I changed the snap buttons on the inside of the dress so that is what took the extra time to work on it. With Sidney being sick, there was no WAY I was going to work on the dress with her awake, so I wasn't able to work on it as quickly as possible. It was fun to do and thanks to my mom's advice, I knew what I was doing! I told them I wouldn't take any payment, but I would take a free night of babysitting, heehee! Date night coming up soon!!!! So, here are the after pictures taken today just before she left for her banquet. Even though it was a small job, I'm proud of it!
