I thought it was time to add a few pictures of Sidney from recently. Below is what she does on an everyday basis now. I have to clean the books up about 3 times a day so she doesn't slip and fall. I don't mind at all! She's just discovered her rocking chair she she sits in it all day reading a book or just sitting there. It's cute to see! She's so proud of the fact that she can get in and out by herself. We're proud of her too!
These are just some random pictures I threw together. The closeup of her in the red/white shirt is of her nose as she wiped out last Saturday on the pavement so she had a nice rudolf look for a few days. It's healed nicely, so that's good! I didn't really want her to have a scar right on the tip of her nose! The picture of her standing on the chair was taken about an hour before I'm posting this. She wanted to be up, and I was baking cookie dough for valentine cut-out cookies, so I let her stand on the chair for a few minutes. She liked it, but I'm definately not ready for her to be there every time I bake! Oh, the picture of her with the boxers on her head is a regular occurance in our house. Any clothes laying around, and they're hers and ALL over the house, so I am learning not to have it laying around for her little hands, or head should I say!
Oh, I forgot to mention last time I posted that she's discovered how to say "Wow-ey" and "Oh-wow". It's so cute to hear! She says "Bee-bah" for Opa and "Bee-ma" for Oma. We're still trying to work on the Grandpa and Grandma! We tried to teach her to do please in sign language, but she fought us so hard on that one and threw a temper everytime we tried to get her to do it, but now she actually says please! We really like that much better anyways! She's such a joy to have around and we just love her to bits!

Poor Sidney with the banged up nose!
ReplyDeleteIt's neat to actually see what she looks like when you tell me she's in her rocker chair & reading books! Your little gal is growing so fast!!
I just love watching little ones read books. I agree with you, that I'll happily put away that mess! Same with crayons and paper.
