Heartbeat

We had our second midwife appointment today, so now we're 13.4 weeks along. The heartrate was 140. Sidney was the same the whole time at 140, so we'll see what this one is like! So, we woke up at 8:30 this morning as I said that our appointment today was for 10. But, at 9:10 the midwife clinic called and said that my appointment was for 9. OOPS!! They were kind enought to get us in for 12 today, so I made some cookies and brought some along as my peace offering. They sure loved the cookies! They told me I can be late anytime as long as I am to bring cookies. Haha, I prefer not to be late again! So, I don't go back until March 16, so I don't have to worry about it until then. These days I think I can feel the baby move. I'm not sure, but it feels like it! I don't mind as I find that the best part of pregnancy!
Sidney is walking everywhere these days. It's alot of fun. Last week I was washing the car and Sidney was on the pavement, but she's not used to an uneven surface, so she fell down a slight slope on the driveway and scraped her nose and upper lip. She just has a scab left on her nose, but other than that good. She's had a few bruises on her head from bumping into things, but I understand that's normal for the stage she's at. I really don't miss her crawling at all. She's not running yet, so I may have to reconsider my feelings on her freedom when that does happen.
I've been enjoying the sunshine these last few days. It's not tanning weather, but it sure beats snow and rain! I met a friend and went for a walk around Mill Lake last week which was just fabulous. I also got a good chance to clean my windows, inside and out which is really nice to have done again. My car got cleaned inside and out; there's nothing like driving a shiny clean car and clean windows. You honestly can tell the difference while you're driving!
I wish I had more exciting things to write about, but my life is pretty blah. It`s full of taking care of a 1 year old and at her age it`s not overly interesting. Just milestones and exciting times. It`s hard to write about, but to see her playing with her baby, reading books, and just being a kid, I wouldn`t change a moment of it. Her and Byron are just the loves of my life! And the expectant baby of course! Well, hope you`re all well and we`ll see some of you soon!
