Sick

Well. I've got something going on. So does Sidney. Let's pray Byron doesn't catch anything! Last week Thursday evening, Sidney didn't seem too good, but didn't have a fever or anything. Just after 8, she was sitting on my lap on the couch and started puking. All over herself and me, then the floor. She threw up EVERYTHING! It was really nasty, but as soon as she was done, she was her happy, bubbly self. Hmm, wierd. So, she seemed to be fine the last few days but last night she ended up having the runs. Poor girl! Of course we were at some friends house! It was only 1 diaper like that, so that was OK. Well, this morning (she slept in her play-pen in our room) she felt hot all over. So, I stripped her down to only her diaper, but she still seemed hot. So, a small breakfast later and she was in bed for 2 hours or so. I took her temperature around 1:15 and her temp was 37.9, but seeing it was underarm, I added .5 as per the thermometer instructions, so it was 38.4 degrees. I took off her shirt and put on a tanktop on and gave her some tylenol, so at 2:45 I again checked at she was down to 37.2/37.7. She is now in bed, under a light blanket and sound asleep!

As for me, I woke up this morning not feeling great and feeling nauseous. So, alas, I ended up getting the runs this morning, so not much fun for me today! Thank goodness Byron is off today so that I don't have to watch Sidney by myself. It's been good though seeing she's really snuggly these days!

Yesterday after church, we met up with some friends at Williams Park in Langley and took some pictures. I only have one picture to post of this, sorry! They're not on my computer! Will post them when I get copies of them!
This past Saturday I went with my mom and Christina's kids to Abbotsford Mall and went trick-or-treating. What a gong show! Literally! I was pushing Sidney in her stroller, but it really wasn't a good idea. I bought some bunny ears at a swap meet a month ago and I dressed her in all pink, so that was her costume! I took her around our house that night to about 6 immediate neighbors dressed in a pink sleeper and her bunny ears. We didn't have too many trick-or-treaters which was fine, but with not having too many I couldn't show off my cool pumpkins I carved by myself! Got the 'pattern' online, so it was a bit challenging but I got the job done!

Well, gotta go and put another hot water bottle on my tummy and eat something, but I don't know what to eat but I'm hungry! Well, I'll figure it out. Enjoy!

  4. Feel better. I was at the Hunt's with the kids on Sat night and Jill told me that you should have trick or treated on Sat daytime. She said that you need to stop by sometime with Sidney...she wants to see you. I told her that I would pass it on to you.
