Sleepy...

It is 8:45 am and I'm exhausted!!! That's an understatement, but can't go back to bed as Sidney is all bright-eyed and bushy! Even though she only got an extra hour and a bit of sleep more than me. Silly girl! And she has a cold to top it off!

Well, Byron has had a tooth ache for 2 days and went to the dentist yesterday and he gave Byron a prescription for antibiotics and T3's. The tooth has to be pulled as it's a wisdom tooth anyways, so Byron heads back to work. So, last evening, the tooth really started bothering him and I went and filled the prescription for him. He took some T3's and antibiotics around 8:20 pm but it didn't help at all. He tried to go to bed so as to sleep off the pain, but that only worked for an hour or so.

So, around 11 he was out of bed and our dentist doesn't have an emergency number on their answering machine, I paged a dentist on call in Abbotsford who didn't call me back (thank goodness as I REALLY don't like the dentist! He's really gross!) Anyways, I then woke my old office manager from Surrey up and asked her a few questions, then I called the dentist that Byron was referred to on an emergency cell and he said to head to the emergency but that he would see Byron today. So, we head to emergency and get there around 12, but leave around 2:40! Blech! Sidney was awake the whole time we were there. I really, really HATE lineups and waiting, so I got a bit impatient, but just for Byron to get a shot of Morphine and something else?? AHHH!! I actually bought my first ever coffee to help me stay awake as I needed it.

Alas, as Sidney is sick with a cold herself, about an hour after we came home she decided to wake up. So, I hauled her into bed with me but of course you don't sleep as well. Then she decided at 8, when I had to call the dentist Byron's going to see today, that she was awake and didn't want to go back to sleep. So, Byron's still in bed and I'm surviving off only a few hours of sleep. We have to head into Vancouver today to get the tooth pulled under IV sedation. We were referred to this dentist as he doesn't charge specialist fee's which is AWSOME!!! So, no food or drink for Byron until this afternoon, poor guy! So, while he's still in bed, I ate some breakfast so as not to tempt him at all. Well, I know everything will go great today, so lets hope that Byron can still enjoy some thanksgiving feasts this weekend! Have a great day! I'll sure try!
