From June 29-July 10, we signed up Sidney for swim lessons. She seemed to really enjoy it. It was just half an hour each day for 2 weeks straight that taught the baby to be comfortable in the water. We sang songs, learned to dunk our baby properly, and just let them have fun splashing and playing with toys. There were 4 baby boys in the class, and then Sidney. Lucky girl! In most of these pictures there was a boy missing as he was sick for a the last few classes and didn't come to the last one. A grandmother took these pictures and I had them emailed to me, so sorry if the quality isn't very great.

Group shot- Left to right: Byron, me, Sidney, a mom, Cole, Matt, Paula, Tucker, Nicolas, Katherine. Missing was Elijah.

Just a note, little Cole was born with his heart on the right? side of his chest instead of the left?. He was born in Portland b/c that was the closed bed they had available at the time with specialists available. At 3 or 4 days old, he had open heart surgery; the point of it was to make sure all the valves were working properly and seeing everything was backwards, to make sure it was all working properly. He just had another surgery in April or so, and will have to have another one in a few years. Poor baby! He sure was a sweetheard and of course, had the LONGEST eyelashes ever! Lucky boy!
