Last Saturday we headed off to Langley to celebrate Opa Bredenhof's 87th birthday. We are thankfull that God could grant him another year and that He could keep Opa in good health. It's been 2 years since Opa's heart attack and surgery, so we're thankfull that all could continue to go well with him. He's still got lots of spunk left! The upper left picture was him singing a song to her; actually 'la-la ing' to her with a tune, and she was just gawking at him. I love to take pictures of the 2 of them together. She sat nicely with him which was good. The lower right picture of her is of Sidney and her friend, Annaliese G. She was 7 weeks old at this picture which was taken on Sunday night. It's amazing how you realize you're baby isn't such a little girl anymore when you compare her to a 'baby'. The middle right picture is of Sidney and her other friend Camia S. There were only 2 baby swings at the Mill Lake playground that we were at and the other one was taken, so Jen had Camia in the swing, so I took the opportunity to sit Sidney in the swing with Camia. They didn't seem to mind at all! It was really cute to see!
These pictures were just taken yesterday afternoon so that I could show you what Sidney looks like today! As you can tell, she got her ear's pierced! She did really good! She cried, actually screamed, when I had to hold her head still against my body. That was even before they came at her with the guns. They did both ears at the same time which was nice and what I prefered. She's stitting atop our few boxes of hardwood flooring that we're hoping to install this weekend in our living/eating area. We're not doing the kitchen as we've heard that it's not nice for the kitchen as if you spill water on it, the hardwood can warp. I'm glad we're not doing it too because our kitchen is a bit higher surface than the room we're doing, so less leveling. We, actually I, really want the kitchen lino done too as it's nasty! You can mop it all you want, but it's cut and burnt and old, so it can never actually get 'clean'. I hate it! One day, hopefully this year yet.
Well, I should sign off now as I have to clean up stuff so that we can move more stuff out of our living room so that maybe tonight we can rip out the carpet, or tomorrow morning. We'll see. I'll post pix as soon as the flooring is done for you all to see! Hopefully it will be done by Wed seeing Byron has to go back to work that day, so we have 5 days this weekend to complete? it. We'll see! Cross our fingers! Well, adios and until next time!

Those are some nice pix of Sidney & her grampa!!
