39 weeks, 4 days

Still awaiting the arrival of the 5th member of our house. I'm not in any way patient this time around. I'm trying to have the positive attitude that God has His plan for us and we just have to wait for that time. I've been ready for the last 4 weeks, so it'll probably happen I go overdue this time due to being prepared ahead of time. This picture was taken of me today, so you know what I now look like.

Today I was tired of being stuck at home "just in case", so I took the girls out for the morning. We headed out to the library for the first time of story time for 1/2 an hour, then we headed to the pond outside to feed the ducks and took our time walking around the very small park. We were right by Dairy Queen so I treated the girls to some fries and we bought a milkshake for sitting on the bench by the pond. The girls seemed to really like it! As did I though :). Right now the girls are in their room, probably making a mess and on the beds with the blankets dumped on the ground, but they're having fun and behind a closed door that they closed themselves! Nice. And. Quiet. For now.

Tomorrow 2 weeks ago we recieved our second batch of baby chicks. The girls were not AS into them this time as they were last time, but it's still cute to watch! Here are some pictures of the girls in the barn recently (again, excuse Jodee's hair. She doesn't keep barrettes in and I don't like to put hair elastics in unless I have to so her hair doesn't break).

Last week I decided to take the girls for a walk in the back field here. The farmer who rents the land hastn't done anything with it since he cut the corn so it's still rows of cut corn stalks. It was a nice, slow walk considering Jodee walked the whole way there and back. Our boots were all covered in mud after that, but it was all worth it! Some pix of the girls out there and one of the 3 1/2 of us.

So, BC got hit with snow 2 weeks ago now, but with the cold that came with it we weren't outside for very long or very much at all. The most I measured in the back yard before the wind hit, I measured 38 cm. Too much for the girls to have fun in seeing it was so deep for them seeing they're little people still! So glad I got these 2 pictures of the girls having fun on the saucer in the snow.
