I should be heading off to bed right now and enjoying getting in as much sleep as possible right now, but thought I should post a quick update. We'll see how long this "quick" one will take.

So, we've shipped off all our birds now and we have an empty barn once again. We'll be getting our next batch of chicks on Jan 20, so looking forward to that again! It's been a real learning curve for Byron, trying to figure out what works best with what, computer programing, ventilation, etc. Lots for him to figure out, but he still loves it! It is nice though to have him come home after work and NOT have to go to the barn for chores, but we've been so used to that for so long it's a bit of a change. I love being a farming family, don't get me wrong!

Well, 35 weeks and 5 days along in our pregnancy and ready as can be for this baby's arrival! Seeing Jodee was born 4 weeks early, I'm not taking any chances that I'm not prepared. Baby room is ready to go, carseat all washed and ready, playpen set up, diapers and wipes in a basket (you forget how little newborn bums are until you look at a size 5 diaper and compare it to a newborn one!!). I have my call list made up, my bag is mainly packed, list of what to pack for the girls is made. Just watch, I have all this done so far in advance and this baby is going to want to wait until 40 weeks. I pray not! I fear this baby is going to be bid seeing Jodee was 7.3 at 4 weeks early, she would have been easily over 9 lbs! My guess anyways :). I've been having Braxton Hicks more so in the evenings, and feeling pressure on my pelvis, so who knows! We have our boys name set but our girls name is still undecided. We both like a name, but neither of our names have been "the one". If we have a girl, we'll just decide then I guess! As we tell Sidney, only God knows right now if we're having a baby brother or baby sister! She's really hoping for a baby brother because "we already have a baby sister". Oh, she melts my heart!

The girls are doing great. Well, for the most part. Attitudes and hissy fits do play a major part in our lives, as well as squabbling between the girls, but life continues on and we wouldn't change it for the world! It just keeps life interesting! Sidney is a spunky 3 year old, the conversations we can have with her are great (it's amazing where she picks up things she says). She's been consistantly dry at night now and wears underware to bed. Of December, she was wet 5 days out of 31! We're extremely proud of her!

Jodee is a clown like usual. Can pull such funny faces and is always on the go. She still loves her snuggles with her mamma and is SUPER excited when Byron comes home. It's a fight between the girls who can get to him faster! Anything Sidney does, Jodee has to do. One thing I especially love right now is Jodee wanting to brush my hair. I know, seems wrong, but Sidney loves to play with my hair and now Jodee is figuring it out too. Ohh, makes this mamma happy! If you're reading this and you're one of my sisters, you'll know how I feel

Well, there's lots more to write, but it's almost 11 and I want to go to bed! This baby is moving around in my stomach right now reminding me to go and lay down. Hope this finds you well! I didn't feel right about posting without a picture, so here is a shot of the girls from last week. Excuse Jodee's messy hair!
