Maternity Skirt
Well, been shopping around for a black skirt for church but was unsuccessfull in finding one that I really liked. So, off to blogland I went and found a tutorial on how to make a maternity skirt from a normal one, the link is found here. So, I've been shopping around at second hand stores for a cute skirt that i would like, and yesterday I got lucky! Woo hoo! So, last night I pulled out my sewing machine and finished today. It's not beautiful, but the band is stuck under a shirt and won't be seen! I had to add gussetts to the side and I had never done it before so I mickey moused it to work. It fits which is the important part. So, here are pictures of the beautiful job I did!! Haha, it fits, that's all that matters to me :)
