Hello to those who are checking my blog regularly, I'm not posting right now as I have no time this week and I don't really feel like it. Last week I decided I was going to tackle purging the toy room upstairs, but when I started moving the first item which was a stuffed animal, I noticed mouse poop. EEK!! I was not impressed and so after some research and a conversation with a sister, I decided it was time to unload both rooms upstairs and put it in the garage and figure out where the mouse had been and start a major cleanup job. I had to throw toys in the tub to wash, wipe down toys, trow stuffies in the washer, etc. It took me a while to unload and when you do...you finally realize how much crap you have!! Wow! So, it was a good thing anyways as now I've purged stuff from my storage room and now I have to go through all my toys and figure out what to sell/donate/keep. Sidney does not play well with toys, so it gives me some incentive to get rid of stuff. I don't want too many toys but I don't want a boring supply of toys either. Hmmm...stuff to think about. On top of it all, I decided to paint the ugliest room in the house which is the storage room seeing it's all empty, AND we shampooed the carpets upstairs (incase of mouse pee) and the girls' room so we had to unload that on Wed, then load that up yesterday, so you see my life has been busy. Both girls are in bed now so I should head off to bed as it's been a long day, shopping at Ikea and all :), shucks! What a life! I saw my Crohn's specialist today for a follow up and all is well. I'm feeling great, so no complaining for me!! Here are a few pictures to please those who miss my girls! Heehee! G'nite!

We have no corners for Sidney to stand in, so she has to put her hands on the door as punishment instead. Yes she's crying here...I'm such a mean mom!
Sidney on Sunday wearing her "underwear" and staying dry by us putting her on the potty every 30 min or so, but she did this all on her own, laying on the floor looking at the colouring book and colouring.
Still wobbly in the exersaucser, but liking it so far. Jodee is such a joy to have around; a happy and easy baby!
Wow! Sidney in underwear. Seems so grown up... I remember those days... Love her standing at the door. You go girl! Whatever works! Jodee's getting bigger too. That sure is alot of work for the mouse droppings. What a pain. You'll enjoy all the stuff sorted as a result of all this too though. Miss you!
ReplyDeleteCamia misses your girls! She asked me again today if she could see them. Perhaps we can arrange a play date again soon? Love the pictures of the girls, especially the ones of Sidney standing against the door and the one of her colouring. So cute!
